Torsion and Tensile Testers

Torsion and Tensile Testers

Incorporated into Kokusai’s inventory of innovative high quality equipment are a number of torsion and tensile testers. These systems are designed to analyze the durability of a range of parts transmitting rotational forces including springs, small components, drive shafts, and transmissions. Our machines only use electric servos, and feature adjustable tension and friction settings that are changeable during testing. Available equipment includes the torsion fatigue tester, tension, and compression fatigue tester which utilizes a ball screw to convert the rotary output into linear motion; and combined torsion/compression fatigue tester which combines all the functionality of the previous machines into one compact unit with one set of controls.

New to our lineup is the steering performance tester, which evaluates the durability of the steering rack and pinion gear boxes. This machine measures all resistance in the steering mechanism over time and has the ability to introduce vibration at the wheel hub area, imitating issues caused by an unbalanced or non-uniform tire/wheel. Changes in test conditions and parameters can be programmed into the tester to simulate differing situations. Consistent with our established approach, this and all of our machines are fully customizable, for a seamless integration into your existing business.
